About my journey
I always wanted to do things differently. I wanted to go out there, explore the world. Which I did in my 20’s. When the time came to do what I thought was expected of me – which is settle down, get a job and think about my pension, I felt lost. I wondered if this is what being grown up meant? Is this what life really is about?
This is not the kind of life I envisioned for myself. However, I didn’t know what alternative there is for me.
Searching for light, I came across the science of our thoughts. And the science behind meditation. I realized how much our thoughts are impacting our health and our life. So for the following years I totally immersed myself into the modern science about mind, thoughts and consciousness. Learning about quantum physics, neuroplasticity, epigenetic, brainwaves and frequencies.
Implementing the knowledge into my own life, meditating daily, becoming more and more aware of my thoughts, feelings and state of being I not only managed to get out of the darkness I was in at that time, but my life was actually transforming into something way more positive than I ever thought was possible.
After only one year, I quit employee life and got out there again, traveling with my boyfriend (now husband), working self-employed from all the different places, making amazing experiences and memories.
During our stay in Bali, I came across Traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga and realized Yoga ultimately was about the mind and meditation. About self-realization. Finding your Dharma. Your reason for being here. Your purpose. And simultaneously living a fulfilled and happy life.
My mission
In the past years my worldview has been put upside down. I am a very analytical person and was convinced that nothing exists beyond what we can perceive with our senses. However, my studies and own experiences proved me wrong.
By sharing my own learnings and experiences about modern science and traditional yoga I would like to inspire you to ask bigger questions.
What is it that you are here for? What makes your eyes light up and your heart radiate? What makes you truly happy and fulfilled?
Are you chasing the right goals? Or is it just something that is expected of you by peers and society?
How can you use the teachings and practices to transform your life into something more radiant? Find your happiness, your center, yourself.
You don’t have to travel the world to do so. Like I said, we are all on our own individual paths. And my path is not yours. However, I think there is one thing we all want. Happiness.
You are curious?
Drop into one of my Tantric Hatha Yoga classes, so you can make your own experiences – which in my view is essential.
Reading about these modern and ancient theories and teachings is one part. Making your own experiences – may it be in meditation or witnessing how your health, life and well-being is transforming is a different story.
We are all creators of our lives – not victims. It is all in our hands. We are way more powerful than we think we are.
I don’t ask you to believe anything I say. But I ask you to be open and curious. Ask questions. Make your own experiences and see for yourself.
"We’re addicted to our beliefs; we’re addicted to the emotions of our past. We see our beliefs as truths, and not as ideas that we can change. We’ve in fact conditioned ourselves to believe all sorts of things that aren’t necessarily true – and many of these things are having a negative impact on our health and happiness."
